Our trust is put into the hands of local coffee experts, Smith St Coffee Roasters, established here in the Steel City back in 2014. Founded by sibling team Dave and Trev, Smith St pride themselves in their intense focus on quality, which we are sure you agree is reflecting in the taste of the coffee we serve, all thanks to this fabulous duo.
The Dark Peak Blend we use is named after the Dark Peak area of the Peak District. This blend produces a caramel treacle like full bodied, smooth & balanced texture with a rich & chocolatey taste, enriching a cappuccino or latte to perfection. The current blend we use is 80% Brazilian Yellow Diamond from the Santa Lucia Farm, which has been owned by the Garcia family since 1997, and offers notes of Milk Chocolate, Hazelnut & Almond. The final 20% of the blend is Columbian Oporapa from the Hulia region. It is a fully washed coffee with notes of Caramel + Dark Chocolate, offering a full rich body.
